When a brilliant but reckless teen and a big-hearted musician desperate to fit in discover that the eccentric academy they attend is run by a shape-shifting alien bounty hunter, they’re pulled into a clash of high school drama and intergalactic prophecy. 

A shape-shifting alien bounty hunter named Kaizar arrives on Earth with an urgent mission: find the boy connected to a mysterious prophecy: one that speaks of a Ulysses destined to bring ruin to the Praetorian Empire. To hide in plain sight, Kaizar assumes the identity of Principal Flunkenheiny at Hollywood Walk High School—an elite but eccentric academy for “special” students. 

Unfortunately for Kaizar, the boy he’s after is Manny Ulysses: a brilliant but volatile outcast just trying to survive high school after yet another failed experiment gets him expelled from his last school. When Manny begrudgingly befriends Bo Domingo, a goofy, big-hearted musician, the two stumble onto Kaizar’s secret and find themselves caught between high school drama and intergalactic danger.

From there, the perspective of the story shifts: sometimes Manny and Bo, sometimes Kaizar, sometimes their friends, family, or even enemies. The show juggles slice-of-life comedy with cosmic stakes, balancing high school crushes and cafeteria drama against shapeshifters, conspiracies, and interplanetary politics. At its core, Manny and Bo is about unlikely connections forged in absurd circumstances. The namesake duo may not always be at the center, but their friendship sparks a chain reaction that ties together every corner of this bizarre world. 

Manny and Bo is a love letter to 2D animation. In an era dominated by CG and streaming “content,” our show proudly embraces hand-drawn animation as both an art form and a storytelling tool. Its elasticity, its exaggeration, and its imperfections are exactly what make it human.
